Suspense is building....

This is it—the Final Round of the 2022 San Diego Piano Competition and Festival for Outstanding Amateurs hosted by AmateurPianists. AmateurPianists believes in making piano music accessible to everyone so all the events during the entire 3 days are FREE to the audience. So come and enjoy amazing piano music!

You have watched 30 Preliminary Round pianists, then the 12 Semi-Finalists, and now the 6 Finalists! They will each play a 25-minute repertoire of their choosing which will be published in the Program booklet available to all. You can pick your personal favorites and see how that compares with the Jury's selections.

There will be one 20-minute break in the mid-afternoon. The Final Round will be over at 4:30 p.m. and there is a 90-minute intermission while the jury deliberates and the stage is prepared for the Awards Ceremony.

Please register for this Final Round with your RSVP to this event. This will help us monitor the number of people in the audience.

The results of this Final Round will be posted on our website at 7:00 p.m. PDT on June 26, 2022.

There will be an Awards Ceremony following the Final Round and after the Ceremony, there will be a Celebration Reception at The LOT, directly across from The Conrad. Registration is required for this complimentary reception. To register, please RSVP here. Please print out (paper or digital) a copy of the registration to show upon entry. Thank you.

This event will be live-streamed on YouTube. To watch remotely, please visit https://bit.ly/38S1HMW.
