Preliminary Round PM - 2022 San Diego Piano Competition for Outstanding Amateurs

*COVID-19 POLICY: Everyone, regardless of vaccine status, is required to wear a mask at all times while indoors, and masks are highly recommended in outdoor areas.

This is the first round of the 2022 San Diego Piano Competition and Festival for Outstanding Amateurs hosted by AmateurPianists. AmateurPianists believes in making piano music accessible to everyone so all the events during the entire 3 days are FREE to the audience. So come and bring your family and friends!

This Preliminary Round has every promise of being a spectacular one, with 30 superb pianists from 6 countries (US, Canada, Mexico, Belgium, England and Ireland) and 10 states. They are just like us, people with day jobs/obligations; but they also chose to spend a lot of their discretionary time practicing and practicing and practicing. And we will get a chance to hear them at their best! Perhaps nervous best?
