The Piano and Chamber Music -- A Lecture

This is a special event where we will hear Francois Chouchan, an award-winning pianist, share his evolution from a solo artist to chamber music and how that led him to found “Le Salon de Musiques”, an intimate chamber music concert series initially based in LA and now in San Diego.

Francois did his early musical training at the Paris Conservatoire and has won many international prizes in Europe with Schubert as his inspiration in connecting audiences and musicians. He will talk about his philosophy as a musician and artist, with playing music as a true act of love and a spiritual bond between the performer(s) and listener(s).

This event is for both pianists and music lovers and is a unique opportunity to understand the passions that drive the pianist/musician and how Francois’ personal journey evolved over geography and artistic media.
